Da gei huh!

Hello to one and all!

Well, this week flew by faster than I think any other on my mission.
Which is weird cause it was one of the craziest weeks yet. Sis. Howard
and I add 49 new investigators this week and only two of them actually
showed up to meet with us. Yes, that is really bad odds. I have gained
a testimony this week that the work I am doing here is not mine, it is
the Lord's. That means everything is done on His time and in His way.
We worked super hard and tried to do all we could to be sure people
came to our appointments or to church, but to little avail. But, one
of the investigator's that did show up is awesome and we have great
hopes for her. The Lord's way of doing things is so much better than I
could ever do. I love being a part of building His Kingdom here in
Taiwan.

We really do have some awesome investigator's though that are
progessing to baptism in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we will
be able to have at least one baptism in this move-call. Yes, I am
almost done with my first transfer. Yikes!

As mom mentioned we too are very grateful that the earthquake in Japan
didn't cause any trouble on Taiwan. It broke my heart to hear about
all of the destruction in Japan though. They have been in our prayers.
Sis Howard says that we get some pretty crazy tsunamis on Taiwan too
and I am excited for those! I don't think they are anything like the
one in Japan though, just lots of rain. And we of course don't sit
inside during them. There is always work to do!

It sounds like everyone has a very stressful and busy week coming up.
The plans for tour sound awesome! Maybe one day I can tag along :D.
How did the play go? Julie looks fabulous in all of her many roles.
You're so talented J! Mel, I got your letter this week. Thank you
pookie!

Kevin mentioned again how long my letters always are. oops! I realized
that you don't have time to sit around all day reading my novels so I
am going to try and stick to the beneficial news and info. We'll see
how that goes. :D

I think I am actually done for this week. I am attaching a couple
pictures for your viewing pleasure. We can only take pics on Mondays
so we always get kinda picture happy. The ones of and from a big
building are one of our chapels. It is on the 15th floor of a huge
office building. Crazy, but awesome.

Love you all! I hope I can hear from mom next week. Be safe and have
fun with all of your crazy adventures.

Sis. Amy Reece
