Dear Family,
This week was absolutely amazing. I love this work and I love this Ward. Wednesday morning Elder Carpenter left and I was with Elders Lauck and Pacheco until 4:30 when me new companion got here. His name is Elder Robles. He was born and raised in San Diego, CA but his parents are both from Mexico so his Spanish is practically perfect. He is about my height but a little bit broader. He played Football before his mission as a Defense Tackle(I don't know what that means but I've heard he was really good;-) He has been out for about 20 months and goes home in May. He has served all the way from West Palm Beach to Key West. He was in Key West for the three weeks before he was with me. Then he came up to Hollywood Hills and Elder Carpenter took his place down in Key West. I love working with Elder Robles. He is a very happy person and a great teacher. I love being with him. I hope to be with him for a while, at least the rest of this Transfer and all of the next. But if I could, I would love to be in this Ward until the day I go home. It really is amazing. I hope that the members here remember me.
This week was also amazing because we had four investigators at Sacrament meeting. Italo Inanami was there like the champ he is. Adulfo Estrella was there again. Raul Acosta was finally there!! And the fourth was Martin. Raul has been investigating for over a month and has wanted to come to Church every week but something always came up. But this week he came! He was planned to get baptized the second of February but we have postponed it so that we are sure that he is ready. Martin is an amazing guy that walked into Church last week. He lives in West Palm so we passed him to them last week but when we talked to him yesterday he said that after marrying his girlfriend he is going to move down here. So are going to be teaching him. I am so excited. He really wants to get baptized and already knows a ton. His fiance is a member and they have a strong desire to go to the temple and get sealed. I am so excited. This work is truly amazing and I feel so very blessed to be able to be here while so many great things are happening. I am seeing so many miracles. There are so many prepared people here. Please keep them in your prayers. Pray for them to feel the Spirit and have the desires and means to keep their commitments and thus build their faith in their Savior.
But I need to go now. Remember that I love you and, more importantly, that Jesus lives and loves you and that we have the fullness of His Gospel and full access to the blessings thereof.
Con toda la parte de mi corazon que no esta en la Florida,
Elder Kevin Reece
